Residents also enjoy proximity to the beach, which is only a 10-15 minute trip through Santa Monica. Nearby, West Park residents can find 7-Eleven, Baskin Robbins, Box Brothers, Chase Bank, Utrecht Art Supplies, California Roll Factory, Laemmle Theatres, and much more. Reviews have been generally positive for West Park. The office staff being absent a lot of the time put off some reviewers. Westside Villas Apartments is centrally located and offers easy access to Century City, Westwood, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica. There are six locations all spread out Los Angeles, so it is easy to be remotely close to whatever area is most convenient for you. These units feature many great amenities, as well as being close to great entertainment and shopping. Rent ranges from each different location. Some tenants have felt that while the grounds are greatly kept, that the management in the past has had some issues, but as time progresses issues continued to get worked out. Barrington Plaza is in a peaceful location in West Los Angeles, just outside of the UCLA campus. To the north of the building is the Los Angeles National Veterans Park, and to the west is the Brentwood Country Club. There is a cluster of well-rated restaurants within seconds from the apartments including Bandera - rumored to have the best ribs in town, Palace Seafood & Dim Sum to satisfy any Chinese food cravings, and Nook that serves up delicious American comfort food. The tenants have had issues with the building management and the elevators that are often out-of-order. Bellerive Apartments is situated in West Los Angeles on Beloit Avenue just off of Interstate 405. Residents are right up the road from the VA Medical Center, and 10 minutes through Santa Monica to the beach. There are many nearby establishments for renters to explore, such as West LA Music, Alias Books, Bar Hayama, Blockheads Shavery Company, Olde Good Things, Hide Sushi, and the Giant Robot Store.
