Located right off South Valley Freeway, Thornbridge resides in a safe neighborhood within a hub of several schools. Caroline Davis Intermediate, Edenvale Elementary, The Academy, and Hayes Elementary are all well praised schools in the area. The Capitol Caltrain station is up the street from the complex and makes traveling up to San Francisco extremely convenient. Recreational activities are also conveniently scattered around the neighborhood with Boulder Ridge Golf Club, Shady Oaks Park, and Santa Teresa County Park all close by. Oaks is in the South San Jose region just off the 101. The area is populated with exciting recreational facilities including Rollin' Ice for rollerskating as well as roller hockey, Silver Creek Sportsplex for indoor soccer and bounce houses, or the relaxing Dolce Hayes Mansions that has spa facilities and holds the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. Those looking to start their day right or just to unwind can find several local favorite cafes in the area including Bill's Cafe, MoonBean's Coffee, and Lime Tree Espresso.
