Coopers Hawk is located on Old Saint Augustine Road in Southeast Jacksonville. The premises rests directly off of Interstate 295, so renters can easily reach the rest of the city. Nearby, residents can enjoy Dick’s Wings and Grill, Tillman’s Meats and Bakery, a US Post Office, and more. Many reviewers mention malfunctioning appliances and say the staff could do more to maintain the apartments.

Residents can enjoy a variety of nearby attractions, including: Suntrust Bank, the Museum of Science & History, the Brest Planetarium, Sake House, The Southern Grill, and River City Brewing Company. Tenant reviews for The Strand have been mixed. Many reviews praise the quality of the construction of the units and describe the place as well maintained. At the same time, a number of reviewers are quite critical of The Strand when it comes to the parking situation and security.
