Both found the customer service level unsatisfactory. One 3-year resident enjoyed the apartments until management changed hands multiple times. Just two blocks from Jacksonville University, Sweetbriar Apartments is a great choice for the busy commuting student looking to walk or bike to and from classes. Students will love it here, especially if they are serious about their studies. The on campus library and the Jacksonville Public Library are within walking distance. Of course, what would college be without the fast food joints nearby? A quick jaunt will take you to Burger King, Taco Bell, and Dairy Queen. Royal Estates is located on the Arlington Expressway in Jacksonville’s Woodland Acres neighborhood. The premises rests on Strawberry Creek, close to a number of shops and eateries, including: Jim’s Place, 5 Star Liquor Bar & Grill, the Woodland Acres Swimming Pool, Saratoga Island Park, and just down the Expressway from Regency Square Mall. Being a newer apartment complex, there are no tenant reviews available as of March 2013, but we are sure that management is offering a great rental in a great location for those who are interested. Reserve at Water's Inlet Apartments are located right off the Arlington Expressway near Matthews Bridge. Saratoga Island Park is short drive across 109A and downtown Jacksonville is less than 5 miles away. Residents also enjoy shopping at Regency Square Mall a few miles down the expressway. Though many tenants say the rent is affordable, a few felt unsafe and referenced vehicle break-ins occurring on the premises.
