This spacious apartment complex is located within minutes from the Museum of Science and Industry, University Square Mall, and Busch Gardens. Summit West has a 24-hour fitness center equipped with cardio machines and weights, a community center and 2 swimming pools to enjoy those hot days. Many tenants have enjoyed their stay here at Summit, saying the apartments are very spacious and the management staff is friendly. Some did complain the trash dumpsters for the trash were located far away from the units. Reviewers disliked that the water was not controlled to each individual apartment. A couple of years ago, River View Apartments received a million-dollar makeover. Tenants love the spacious rooms and views of the Hillsborough River. This complex has a swimming pool, Fitness center and a fishing pier. University Mall is less than 5 miles from the apartments, along with eight different parks to enjoy a nice peaceful day. Many residents appreciate the professional and respectful management staff, who is very welcoming and helpful. The maintenance staff is also very quick to respond to any issues. Just 1.5 miles from Busch Gardens, Meridian Apartments is a quiet, gated apartment complex that is perfect for a family or a occupant. Meridian’s units include upgraded appliances, screened patios to keep the bugs out, beautiful landscaping, and large closets. Many bars, restaurants and entertainment venues are located nearby. Most tenants say the management staff is very friendly and makes it a point to make residents feel comfortable living here. The maintenance staff is very responsive. Tenants can’t say enough great things about Arbor Walk Apartments. The staff is extremely friendly and the maintenance is quick to respond to any issues. The units are very spacious, has great security, and the management does a great job keeping the place clean. According to one tenant, the one con is the theft and crime that has occurred, but measures have been taken to improve security. Arbor Walk is within walking distance from Busch Gardens and right near I-275, I-75 and I-4. Enjoy a nice day at Rogers Park or Rowlett Park or plan a night out at many of the restaurants nearby. Granada Apartments had some rough patches a couple of years back. Tenants complained that management was unresponsive and maintenance was slow to respond. Around 2012, the management staff has changed and things are turning around. The grounds are kept clean (with the occasional weekend trash but is quickly cleaned), maintenance is quick to fix any issues, and the management staff cares about the tenants. Andover Club sits near the Hillsborough River right off the 580 and about 5 miles outside of the heart of downtown Tampa. The complex is a convenient 2 miles from the center of the University of South Florida campus, making it an easy commute for students or faculty. Tenants looking for nightlife will find a plethora of bars and lounges, including Babylon Hookah Lounge and My Place within a mile of the property. Avesta Del Rio Apartments lies 5 miles north of downtown Tampa, near the Hillsborough River. For leaseholders without cars, the apartment complex has nine bus stops along East Sligh Avenue. For residents looking for a quick bite to eat, Temple Terrace Center just around the corner has a pizza place and other restaurants like Peking King Restaurant, McDonald’s, and Cauldron Jamaican Restaurant are close by.
