Occupants can choose to shop at Briar Vista Shopping Centre a few minutes down the road or go to the Target close by. Nature lovers can enjoy several parks in the area, including La Vista Park, Kittredge Park, and Thompson Park. Tenant reviews note that the rent is affordable and the location is fantastic. Others say that maintenance is slow and the ground aren't kept up with.

Reviews of Monroe Place Apartments speak highly of the management there and the friendly community. Though a few reviewers complained of trouble with bugs in their units and the high utility bills, maintenance responded quickly and produced great work. In terms of location, there is plenty of shopping with the Ansley Mall Shopping Center just down the road. The Tattletale Lounge is great spot to go to for a quick drink, only minutes from the building. There are also tons of bus stops around the area for tenants to access.
