Delaware Street for easy public transport. Several breweries are located close to the complex like Sun King Brewing, Tomlinson Tap Room, and Flat 12 Bierwerks. Past tenants wrote raving reviews about the apartments, saying there were some minor glitches such as slow or stuck elevators, but everything was fixed with a timely and pleasant manner. Sherwood Tower apartments are at the heart of Central Indianapolis. The complex is surrounded by several bus stops on N. Pennsylvania Street and N. Delaware Street. Nearby, renters can grab a coffee at Starbucks, a drink at Ten Bar, and dinner at Restaurant at Villa. A resident reviewer wrote he/she has been very pleased with the apartments recently after reporting a pest problem. Maintenance resolved the pest issue, but management insisted on moving him to an even nicer apartment. Other tenant reviews are a bit dated and it seems things have changed for the better. Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital is within a mile of the complex, so employees will enjoy a quick commute. Two bus stops are along N. Delaware St and two along N Pennsylvania St. and make getting around a cinch, as do I-65 and I-74 nearby. Shoppers can feed their addictions at the Southpointe Commons Shopping Center and do-it-yourselfers can pick up supplies at Lowe's across the street. The Van Dyke is near the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site. There are four bus stops surrounding the complex; two on N. Delaware Street and two on N. Pennsylvania Street. Nearby, there is the Circle Centre Mall, St Elmo Steak House Restaurant, and The Old Spaghetti Factory. A past tenant has said that this complex is “the best apartment value in the city.” There have only been two reviews for the building, but both would recommend The Van Dyke as an excellent place to live.
