Set in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains, Panorama Heights Apartments live up to their name with the large, open balconies. The community picnic area, outdoor swimming pool, and nearness to Sandia Park and downtown Albuquerque provide an abundance of both recreational and leisure activities. With fireplaces, skylights, and gourmet breakfast bars built into the apartments, the rent-starting in the early $600s-is well worth the cost.

Villa Serena Apartments are located on Indian School Road in the eastern end of Albuquerque. Tenants can take advantage of public transportation close by. For families, the Hinkle Family Fun Center is just around the corner. For the outdoorsy renter, Villa Serena is near the parklands of Sandia Mountains; so residents may feel free to go for a hike or camping. CVS and Walgreens are not far either. Renters have left many lukewarm reviews. Some are dissatisfied with the management and their procedures. However, it should be noted that few of the negative reviews make any substantive mention of the living quarters or neighborhood, so Villa Serena may be right for you.

La Vida Buena Apartments rests right off of Menaul Boulevard, about 4 miles from downtown, and on Ambassador Road. There is a plethora of bus stops around for residents to take advantage of. Steps from the building is the Wyoming Mall, which offers stores lie Walmart and Dollar Tree to shop at. There are a variety of restaurants residents can choose to eat at in the area like CoolWater Fusion, Fun's Fresh Buffet, and Twisters. Reviews report how some are concerned with the safety of the area, unfriendly neighbors, and the condition of the building. However, management is aware of problems and is working on improving the property.
