Located right in the Highland Park section of Pittsburgh, Negley Garden is surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Located right near the bus line leading to Oakland, Negley Garden makes it easy to get to where you need to go. With three different sized units and different floor plans to choose from, it is easy to find a size and a price that will hopefully work for you. Units come with different amenities and utilities as well. Rent ranges from $650-$895. Although amenities are available, these units do not come with as many as some other apartments typically do, however the cost is pretty fair so it is a good trade off. With properties located all over Pittsburgh, specifically in the East End, Forbes Management has many properties that show the best of the Pittsburgh area. Many properties are close to schools, hospitals, shopping, dining, and much more. All the units that are featured through the company feature many amenities, and a friendly staff. With the exception of some security issues and spacing issues, past and current tenants have really seemed to enjoy their experience as a whole. Franklin West Apartments Shadyside are in the heart of the Shadyside neighborhood. As such, it possesses a high level of convenience for those attending the University of Pittsburgh or Carnegie Mellon University. Franklin West is also very close to a wide array of shopping locations, such as Target, Giant Eagle, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Staples, and others. The complex is not far from a number of public transportation lines, so getting wherever you need to go should be pain free. Tenants can get their fast food fix at nearby McDonald’s or Subway. All in all, reviews of Franklin West have been positive, praising the location and quality. Management has been a bit of a concern, but not enough to dissuade many residents from renewing. The complex consists of a 5 acre campus with 12 beautiful buildings enclosing a private park available only to residents of the Highland Park Club Apartments. This location is perfect for cat and dog owners, families with children, or anyone who enjoys being outdoors. The Highland Park Club Apartments are less than a 15 minute ride to the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, along with downtown, and the Pittsburgh Zoo. Some renters have raised concern about managements ability to clean up after the repairs that they have completed. The management team, however, seems willing to work on these issues to please their clients. Apartments are 1 or 2 bedrooms and range from $915-$1,135 per month, utilities are included.
